She may have been kicked out of the Freedom Caucus, but it looks like she’s still calling the shots where it counts.

After voting on the House floor, Marjorie Taylor Greene reportedly turned to Twitter, noticed that she was trending, and through her scrolling, discovered that she had been kicked out of the Freedom Caucus.

And then, according to the New York Times, which just revealed fresh details about her ouster in new reporting, she was approached by Congressman Ben Cline, an active member of the ultra conservative bloc.

He asked if she would attend a meeting with Freedom Caucus Chairman, Congressman Scott Perry, who wanted to tell her in person that she had been kicked out. Greene declined, opting instead to scold Cline and the rest of the caucus for not helping pass her legislation to ban transgender surgeries for children — an issue she noted in the exchange “which the Freedom Caucus doesn’t care about.”

Greene was removed after she apparently referred to Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, a member of the Freedom Caucus, as a “little bitch” on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The two have long been said to dislike each other, but the tension came to a head as they held dueling measures to impeach President Biden.
